Hi. I'm Erycha.

I am an artist, a marketing and communications specialist, and an event management professional.

I  have over a decade of experience in event management and public relations from both the private and public sectors. I have extensive experience in website creation and management, digital and print marketing and promotion, and with events, growing from event coordination, collaboration, and day-of assistance to complete events facility management. I have worked primarily with higher education and some private sector employment.

Currently, I am Doctoral Candidate in Public Administration at Valdosta State University. I hold a Master of Public Administration from Augusta University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Georgia State University. In higher education, I have worked with degree programs and departments to handle all print and digital marketing, communication, and publications as well as all events for the department, center, and subsequent programs. Additionally, I have served as the program coordinator for a Master of Public Administration graduate program and managed recruitment efforts as well as the admissions process. I hold a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership, have served as a consultant for nonprofit boards, and co-founded The ICU Project, Inc. A 501(c)3 humanitarian organization for the homeless at-risk youth in the Augusta Metro area.

I am the founder and sole designer/illustrator behind the brand, FEMcreative. I established the FEMcreative brand to encompass my illustration and design work outside of my 9:5. The name “fem” is from the Latin for fern; if you know me personally, you know I have a thing for the little green gems! It also represents the inspiration of nature often seen in my work and my identity as a woman. These are intended to guide the brand by valuing nature and those that strive in adversity and emphasize the power of creativity to do something. To that end, Erycha works with nonprofit agencies to promote their projects and organizations. My personal work features natural elements, dynamic color palettes, and bold design.

I am an artistic soul, a Gluten Free foodie, a D.I.Y. junkie, and an occasional seamstress. She loves promoting others’ magic. Additionally, she has a strong love for holidays, a passion for gardening, and loves exploiting her five fur children in creative photoshoots! In the Phylomena blog, you will find Erycha’s holiday, home improvement, culinary, and DIY adventures.
